Four years ago I was at Laconia Bike Week when I saw a nice Chopper; it was a Big Dog. I loved the looks and I wanted one however I’ve been a Harley guy all my life having owned a 97 custom Fat Boy but I wanted a Big Dog Chopper. So in 2005 I got myself one. I love the ride, the power, the look. I sold the Harley and have ordered a 2008 K9 from BDM. So Big Dog keep up the good work.

I’ve gone through my share of motorcycles over the last 20′ish years – sold my HD Springer last July and immediately started looking for a replacement. I was tired of the “normal” motorcycles and I wanted something that stood out, was fun to drive, and that my wife would like. My new 2008 Big Dog Mastiff is that machine – and what an awesome machine it is! First day out I swear a couple of young guys in a passing car received neck cramps from staring this baby down. And that’s just the looks! I was finally able to take it out for an extended ride this past Sunday – got in about 50 miles or so…it was unlike any other ride I’ve ever taken. This beast is much easier to control than I expected, took to the curves like it belonged, and the power… wow… Anyway, I’m really glad my wife twisted my arm and forced me to get the bike. I’m really looking forward for the next break in the weather so I can get out on the road again… and again… and again…

I received my ’06 Mastiff as a birthday gift from my boyfriend, Mark, last year. Needless to say, that was the best gift I could have ever received and although I have been riding for a few years, it was my very first bike! I get a ridiculous amount of attention on the road…most people can’t believe a 105 lb. woman can handle all this bike. Oh, but I can and I LOVE it! I live in Arizona where we ride year round and I even ride to the office every day. I can’t imagine a sweeter bike to suit me and my style. There is nothing better than cruising through the desert on my Big Dog with the warm wind in my face…pure joy.

I was first introduced to Big Dog motorcycles while vacationing with my daughter in Scottsdale, AZ. I rented a Harley, and off to Cave Creek we went. We ran into Gary Busey and his gang while at Cave Creek, and Wow, what a blast! Big Dog’s all over the place, and that is when I fell in love with a Chopper. When I got back to PA, I called a local dealer (Black Dog) in Wormleysburg, PA, who carries Big Dog motorcycles. I purchased my Chopper, and life was good. Then Uncle Sam called, and off to Baghdad I went for a year. After I returned, kinda figured it was time to upgrade, and I traded the Chopper in for a new Mastiff! Love it, that coupled with my HD Road King keeps me on bikes throughout the year. Life is good, and gotta tell you, nothing gets the looks like that Mastiff!

I’m on my 2nd Big Dog and I can’t seem to get myself to want to ride the HD in the garage. The performance of the ’06 K9 is as eye popping as the styling and paint. I haven’t gotten tired of all the compliments from other riders and even those that don’t ride. Most just can’t believe it’s not a “custom” I built myself, but I tell ‘em it’s right off the showroom floor; but I customized it – I put the red braided plug wires on. It’s a Spiritual Experience riding the K9; the last bike I’ll ever need. The “gravy” is how well the company stands behind what they sell.

I bought my Big Dog Motorcycles Chopper April 28th of this year and now have over 7000 miles on it. I cannot say enough good things about it. To start, I have been riding Harleys for years, and my Chopper by far is the most comfortable bike I have been on. It is a technological marvel! My back, arms, and feet position are perfect. I am not very tall and the chopper feels like it was built for me. I spend all weekend riding. Not to mention it is powerful, beautiful, and dependable. I could spend years chroming my Harley and still would not come close. Every time I am out I get compliments, along with phone numbers. People are always asking about it. I doubt I will ever buy another bike. I am truly thrilled with my Chopper, and I wanted to say thanks.

I have been riding motorcycles for over 40 years. Never in all that time have I ever ridden or experienced anything close to my 2007 Big Dog Chopper. Built from the very best of materials and parts, engineered like nothing else. It is my #1 material possession in my life that I live to enjoy. Thanks for building a motorcyclists’ dream come true.

What a trip my wife and I had riding to Sturgis this year from Illinois. I own a 2005 Ridgeback and my wife has a 2005 Chopper. Every time we stopped for gas we had people taking pictures or just asking questions about our beautiful motorcycles. My wife and I put over 2800 miles on them and had the BEST time ever. The pictures we took and the memories were a tribute to the fantastic motorcycles you build. My wife and I can’t say Thank You enough for how we feel about Big Dog motorcycles. We can’t wait to ride them to Sturgis in 2008.

I took delivery of my 2007 K-9 bright red with furnace flames in June. It has been a hell of a ride!!!! I think I now know what it’s like to be a rock star. Every where you go you are the center of attention. You can not stop to fuel, at a red light or go out in public without drawing a crowd. I have had over 60 pic’s taken in the few short months that I’ve owned my Big Dog. Life’s a bitch having the baddest bike in town!!! Now I understand what it means to BREAK THE LEASH!!!

Nothing but love for my ’05 Chopper and the Big Dog Team. Still love my Harley, but there’s nothing like the neck popping power and head spinning looks you get on a Dog. Nothing but thumbs up everywhere you go. Here in California, stop and crowds gather. “Man, that must have cost a mint”…I smile and tell them, “No, it just looks like it.”

When BDM came out in 2005 with the Right Side Drive, I just had to have one so I traded in my ’03 Mastiff (which already had 24,000 miles on it) for a 2005 Chopper, which was the first one in Southern California. I have since put over 43,000 miles on it and have enjoyed it. I tell everyone that sitting on a BDM Chopper is like sitting in a Lazy Boy chair. I have been on many long distance trips with this bike and couldn’t be happier with the performance, style and above all the attention I get from people. Big Dog Motorcycles provides the most bike for your hard earned dollars compared to other brands and I’m here to tell you they are the Best Bikes to own! Sincerely, Raymond Atwood USN (retired)

I purchased my ’07 K9 in July 2007 and have had so many compliments from my friends and people on the street. I also own a H-D, however between the two bikes, Big Dog is a totally different animal! I have taken my Big Dog on a seven hour ride and to me being comfortable makes the ride that much more enjoyable. Ride on! Pete Flores

I have an awesome ’08 Pitbull and entered it in the Orlando Harley Davidson Bike Show. Bikes came from everywhere. I won 1st place and $1,000 cash. Everywhere I ride this bike, it’s admired for its design. My husband and I each own a BDM. Thanks Big Dog!

I am a Firefighter and I repair fire trucks, so I can appreciate a fine piece of craftsmanship. This is my 2007 Mastiff. It is my way for me to disappear in the wind and remove all stress. This will be my 4th motorcycle. I had a 1985 FXRS previous to my Big Dog. There is no comparison. The Mastiff is awesome. It is smooth, planted to the road and definitely a head turner. I love it! I took it to Gettysburg last week with my family. It was a real experience riding thru the battle grounds. Get one! You won’t regret it!

My 2007 K-9 Big Dog motorcycle was featured in Quick Throttle Magazine in March. It’s nickname is “Bad Hoggie” thanks to my 4-year old twin daughters. It currently has 810 miles on it from riding it on weekends. I love it -Thanks Big Dog!

After my father passed away unexpectedly about a year ago, I found my Big Dog motorcycle, a K9, couldn’t resist it, so I purchased it. It had always been my dream to purchase a motorcycle which I had done about 3 years ago. I had a custom bike, a bit raked but nothing like I have now. After riding my Big Dog motorcycle for several months I decided to paint the bike in honor of my father who had supported me through out all my years growing up. Being that my father loved Las Vegas, I decided to paint it Vegas Style! I have incorporated his name along with my brother’s into the paint scheme of the bike. I feel like I have two guardian angels with me whenever I ride my bike, my father and my brother, who also has passed away. Thanks again and I LOVE MY BIKE!

I bought the Ridgeback new in March of 2006 from American V-Twin Bikes in Houston, Texas. Since then, I’ve ridden the bike over 4300 miles around south Texas. I’ll be entering it in shows this summer and plan on collecting a few trophies! I’ve taken it to the Republic of Texas Rally in Austin twice now and she’s definitely a crowd favorite! I just need to braid a few more lines and she’ll be ready for the Ball. There’s nothing like riding that 9 foot long beast and seeing the reactions of the people around it. They literally get out of their cars at stoplights to take a picture!!! You just gotta get a kick out of that. Hey, thanks for building a solid, gorgeous bike. Sometimes I feel guilty for having so much fun… Well, not really…

It was a rainy day in Georgia when the ’07 K9 picked me. The dealer rolled it into the shop, dried it off, and I sat on it, never looking back. I had spent long days looking at bikes other than Big Dog – fit and finish – put this one in best of breed class. 3500 miles later, and after shipping the bike home to Alaska, it has proven to be comfortable and reliable, and very road worthy in the Alaskan and Yukon Territory conditions. This one is a rider!

This is my first Big Dog motorcycle but not my first motorcycle. I started out like most motorcycle enthusiasts, building and riding mini-bikes. Eighteen years later (got married, raised my sons) I purchased my 1st Harley, a Fat Boy. Well after putting 35,000 miles on it my wife realized that she’d have to join me if she wanted to see me. So I gave her my Fat Boy and bought my 2007 K-9. The K-9 is a great bike. Added some custom paint along with a few other items. Call me sentimental but I ride with my family and my dreams. The front fender is for my oldest son who is a US Marine, the tank has a picture of my wife and the rear fender is a copy of my youngest son’s tattoo. On the sides of the tank are pictures of the Tetons which is just a place I love to visit. I love the bike and love to ride. Finally, your customers should know that it’s NOT just a bar bike.

I have had my 2005 Bulldog for little over two years and I absolutely love it. This is my first motorcycle and I’ve always wanted a Big Dog. I just can’t imagine riding any other bike.

This is my 2007 Big Dog Chopper, and all I can say is that at 60 years old and riding for most of those years I have found the ultimate riding experience. I have not found the absolute riding until now. Thank you BDM and your team of true professionals.

I’d been a “metric” cruiser until I fell in love with the first Big Dog I’d seen. I was in Guam at the time (active duty US Navy!) and knew I’d own one some day. First thing I did when I came back to the States was find a local dealer – Steel Dreams in Burlington, WA. They had an ’07 K9 Limited Edition on the floor. I bought it on the spot – Lucky #97 of 100. By the way, Steel Dreams is an excellent dealership – great customer service and an outstanding service department. They also have a café and serve up an incredible breakfast menu! Better take your appetite, though. Love my Dog! Power and style is unmatched. People stare and give me the “thumbs up” everywhere I go. A Big Dog truly is a man’s best friend!
