Or, getting that Fat Tire around a corner

Selling motorcycles with fat, wide tires, I often hear the question, “How hard is it to get it around a corner?”.  The truth, much easier than you think, but proper technique must be employed.  Now, there’s nothing magic about cornering a 300mm tire, in-fact, the cornering technique is what you should be doing no matter what type of bike you ride or how wide the tire is.  But, for this article, instead of trying to re-write what some very accomplished authors have already done, I’m going to give you some great links to check out.  Please take the time for this as I believe learning proper steering technique is the most important thing you can do on any motorcycle.  Not only will it make you a better rider, but it will increase the “fun factor” of riding.  And if it ain’t fun, why do it?
