Gateway Big Dog Motorcycles is committed to offering the best in Dyno-Tuning with the SuperFlow CycleDyn. Equipped with the Eddy Current Absorber Module, it allows us to simulate “Road-Load” conditions. The Eddy Current has 8 large electro-magnets that can hold the dyno-drum back to any speed. For example; if your bike seems to have a miss at 45 mph in 5th gear at 3/4 (75%) throttle, the Eddy Current allows us to hold the bike at that combination, which allows us to diagnois the problem much faster. The Eddy Current is also crucial in accurately building Fuel Maps for the Fuel Injection and Ignition Maps for custom spark curves.
The SuperFlow CycleDyn is also equipped with exhaust gas sensors. These probes with wide-band sensors allow the computer to us fast and accurate fuel ratio information. Thus, making the correct jetting for a carburated motorcycle or building the fuel map for fuel injection possible. Without these sensors, carburator jetting or building a fuel map for an EFI bike is a guess, at best.
